The crucible is removed immediately
Disposing of the crucible. Various rail roads handle their welding debris in different ways.
Some break up the crucible and mold leaving the biodegradable parts to turn to sand, the steel scraps (sprue and risers) as road bed trash.
Other companies bring back the metal scrap and others remove all the debris.
