Capping the Crucible, Extinguishing the Torch. The exothermic reaction is on its way and cannot be stopped.
Both brilliant AND hot only seconds to go.
Hot steel pours from the tap, fills the mold and risers. Last frame (right) the slag is running out into the slag pan.
Only seconds pass from ignition until the pour is complete.
