Steve Kayne and his family were there selling their great selection of blacksmith's tools.
Sadly their van was broken into Saturday morning and a selection of tools stolen including some imported Swedish style sledge hammers and some Grant Sarver tongs. If the Birmingham/Bessemer police can't ID these unusual goods there is little hope of solving any kind of theft!
I had a good chance to talk to Steve about a number of subjects including the "Old Blue". Steve is a believer in the Keep it Simple rule. I took this picture for his wife Shirley to show her how my digital camera works. OK for web and catalog work but use film for that new grand child! Hmmm. Two dragons on one page. . . |
