The reproduction Viking ship Fydraca
The reproduction Viking ship Fydraca at Union Station, Washington D.C. The Frydraca belongs to the Longship Company of the Markland (We are not the SCA) organization. Bruce Blackistone is one of her captians. See Volume 3, the Fenby edition, for an anvilfire! NEWS report on a Longship Company event.

Washington at risk! The Fydraca engages in dry-land sailing on a VERY windy day. The Fydraca and her boat the Gyfalcon (below left) were on display at Union Station, Washington DC, as part of a Norwegian (Viking) Christmas celebration.
You just take the arms and armor and other gear that your wife dusts around, trips over, and cusses at, put it in a nice glass display case and thousands of people think its wonderful!
