Nick produces forged hardware in quantity. He demonstrated several techniques including a number of special dies for use in the power hammer. He also tried to demonstrate the use of a Donald Streeter type hinge bender which he had given up on and instead had a local machine shop press brake his hinge loops. It never hurts to look for someone that can do a job cheaper and faster than you can! |

Nick forging on the Kuhn air hammer. In the forground is a Grant Sarver "rope" die that Nick demonstrated for making drawer pulls. A short piece of stock square stock was forged with the dies, twisted and then the squared ends drilled for screws that went through stand offs. | |||
