I-beam Anvil :

Orange I-beam anvil from plate with Stand

Anvil made from an I beam and a heavy piece of plate.

I-Beam anvils are common in many farm and welding shops. They are OK for ocassional bending and straightening but are too springy and low mass to be good for forging. This one is a little better than most due to the heavy top plate and side ribs. The stand is as good as any.
