These hammers have been hiding in a warehouse for decades. There are two identical hammers.
They are new and have been kept stored indoors on their original pallets.
Other than a little superficial rust on bare metal surfaces they are in perfect condition.
These hammers require a plinth ot riser base for stand up operation.
Federhammer
The W.Meitinger & Son hammers are well known in Germany and Europe.
These are a "Federhammer" or spring hammers, a type of mechanical spring helve hammer common in Europe and made by many manufacturers.
The mechanism is similar to the poular DIY "Little Rusty" hammers. The original importer branded these as the "Cyclops" or "Little Smity".
All moving parts are covered for safety and dust protection.
The drop hammer ran is driven through adjustable V-ways, all shafts are fitted with roller bearings.
The stroke is steplessly variable thus enabling simple adjustment to all required working conditions.
All models are oprable from the front, right or left side as well as with remote foot pedal control.
Illustration at right includes optional riser base (not included).
Extra dies are available with these machines.
