Photos from Ted Mays, Tool Collection Tour   Hand Crank Drill (Old Man)

According to my father, in the trades this tool was called an "Old Man". So I have done so here. -guru

These have largely been replaced by magnetic based drill presses which are a really great tool. But they are heavy and expensive. This "Old Man" is light and easy to take to the job.
