This was a paper weight on the desk of the Senior Vice President of Mauser, the German firearms company.
Made about 1920 it is beautifully finished and blued as a gun manufacturer would do.
The anvil was obtained directly from the family.
Mauser was in business from 1874 to 1995 and was then sold.
