De Saint Uby Miniature Anvils

European Mini Anvil Collection

Sent to us by De Saint Uby - France

This collection includes large and small "minis" made in France, Germany and one from the U.S. Materials include aluminium, brass, bronze, cast iron and steel. Manufacturing methods include casting, machining and hand carving.

The anvil painted blue in the foreground may be a Dentist's or Jeweler's anvil. The little aluminium anvil to the left is made by machining on a lathe and possibly a milling machine then hand shaping with a file.
