Friday Night after hours there were several events.
A contingent of Irish smiths from Channon's Forge demonstrated shoe making at the Centaur Forge site.
Uri Hofi held a special 10th aniversary demo for old friends and students. Among the notables in attendance was
Bill Gichner. I ran into Toby Hickman (an anvilfire fan) and had a talk with him during the demo.

The Start Uri says every demo must have a beginning and an end. He starts with an introduction.

The crowd enclosed the intimate demo on three sides. Uri is starting a scroll.
90% of his demonstration was on the power hammer, the anvil used mostly for straightening and bending.

The Party continues as evening sets in.
|
