Bill's Beast
William calls his hammer the BEAST. This is a Ron Kinyon style air hammer. He says,
"Just read the "Guru" page & noticed your comment about mass being a good isolator - note the 9" shaft anvil, and the 5" plate base on this beast. (base not in picture).

SPECS:
  • 120# RAM (54 Kilos) - Heavier than most
  • 2" x 12" Cylinder (50mm x 300mm)
  • 3 x 6 Dies (75mm x 150mm)
  • 9" (230mm) Diameter anvil
  • 5" (125mm) Thick Base plate
  • Weight 2300 pounds (1043 Kilos)

A word of advice from Steve Kayne (Maker of Big BLU). Don't run your pilot circuits on the oiler. The pilot lines will become saturated and the machine run irraticaly.
