Lives Shaped by Steel is a compilation of work by 39 Metal Artists along the East Coast. A well written book, chronicaling the artwork of some of the finest metal artist' that one could come across. Nancy has captured the true sense of the artist that is in each of the men and women described in her book.

Over 300 superb color photos of metal work and detailed description of the artists themselves is contained. The book begins with an introduction by the author, Nancy Zastrow describing how the book came to fruition. Traveling from New England along the East Coast Region to Florida, Nancy and her crew have sought out some phenomenal artisans. Nancy has captured the true sense of the artist that is in each of the men and women described in her book.

This is by far one of the finest examples of outdoor metal sculpture that has been produced. It is a must have for the blacksmith library.
