Featured Video : BGoP Anvil Shoot 1999

WARNING! The Featured Video, BGoP Anvil Shoot, contains language that may not be suitable for children.

From 1998 and the ABANA Conference in Asheville, NC until his death in 2005, Jim "Paw-Paw" Wilson traveled with Jock Dempsey taking videos of blacksmithing demos for anvilfire. The collection starts with the Junkyard Hammer competition in Asheville and includes Alabama Art casting demos, Peter Ross, the Flagstaff ABANA conference in 2000 and many others.

The video was taken with a relatively old analog home video camera and converted to VHS. The quality is not nearly what we expect today from even a cell phone video. But it was we had at the time. .
