Prices and specifications from Little Giant Inc., Mankato, MN June 1976 spec. sheet.
Industrial capacity rule For mild steel added by author, based on Forging Industry Association's, Open Die Forging Manual, 1982.

These are specifications for the last hammers Little Giant made. Earlier hammers are slightly different. These hammers had V-Belt drives with maple block clutches in the overhanging rear mounted pulley. All had removable sow (anvil cap) blocks and used a single open V-guide system. The 250# and the 500# had a separate bolt on anvil and bronze ram guides. JDD 1997
